About IslandDealz

IslandDealz is a "friend who finds the real deals". It records Shopee Thailand prices every day and tells you plainly whether to buy now or wait. It starts with cat supplies, because the person behind it has cats and buys food and litter every month.

Richie and Jiw

• Richie — a silver tabby with a serious face who doesn't trust easily. On the site, Richie is the one who says "wait" or "skip it".
• Jiw — white and grey, big round eyes, easily excited. On the site, Jiw says "buy now" when a price is genuinely low.

Why IslandDealz exists

Many "sales" raise the price first and then "discount" it back. So IslandDealz records prices itself, every day, and compares them with the real typical price — not the price a shop chose to print.

What IslandDealz promises

• Never claims "lowest in N days" without N days of data
• Always shows when the price was updated, and that shipping isn't included
• Says clearly that IslandDealz earns commission, and that it doesn't affect ranking
• Marks a deal as over when it's over
